DESCRIPTION:

Many white people come to liberation spaces hoping we will learn how to talk to Black people. We think that if we can show Black people that we are safe to be around, then we won't be racist. We imagine that by our example, other white people will want to be as good as we are, and racism will finally end. 

At the same time, we've lost countless relationships with white people due to political differences. Chances are, we feel both righteous and lonely. In a moment of reflection, we realize how ineffective we've been and we want to get better at talking to white people. Sound familiar? If yes, this is for you!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

During this session, you will:

• practice talking to racist white people (case study*)
• get clarity on your role in ending racism
• gain insight into the patterns getting in the way
• learn a framework to make a difference
• connect with fellow white people on a liberation journey  

* This case study is best experienced live. While not required, please prioritize attending the live session for the greatest impact.

We utilize an assortment of activities and zoom capabilities. Come prepared to have a great time!

The recording will be emailed to all those registered within five days of the live event. Access to the recording will expire after one year.
